Holy Giveaway Response, Batman!

Thank you all for participating here. I’m honored and floored that so many of you were interested in this little make-up bag!
I went with random.org to choose the winning comment number. Apparently the way WordPress numbers the comments here is from the very start of the blog. So the giveaway post comments ranged from numbers 268 to 799!
And the winning comment is…

Congrats to Jacquie of Under the Shade of a Bonsai Tree! I’ll send you your congratulatory email ASAP. You have 24 hours to reply back to me; otherwise I’ll redraw the number and pick a new winner tomorrow.
Thanks again, everyone. :) There will be future giveaways, for sure.

In Like a Lion…

The 31 Days of March
Every day in March the Liesl Made Shop will be updated with at least one new item. Here is a sneak peek of things to come…
Sneak Peek 2 Sneak Peek 1

200

200sales
I’ve reached a milestone. 200 sales. I also realized my three year Etsyversary was a week ago. Now, how to celebrate?

2009 on the Horizon

A few new happenings going on here in the Liesl Made world.
First of all, I’ve updated my shop with a few new items.
Neck Scarf
On through to the New Year I’ll be having a sale in my shop, discounting select items.
Then, come the first of ’09, I’ll begin updating my shop with lots of new completions, including (finally) some clothes like an adorable organic jumper, skirts and more.
As well as officially deleting my old blog. I kept it up because many sites had links to the old tutorials but I think I have established myself enough here make the switch. Besides, I don’t know how many times I almost posted there instead of here. Not to mention, (this isn’t very business savvy of me, but…) I don’t like to have too much of a web presence. I have my favorite sites and I stick with them. I have no desire to get a Facebook or a MySpace. I guess they might be fun but, honestly, I have no idea how people keep up with all of them. Just Flickr and the blogosphere are more than I can handle. And yes, one blog is enough for this girl.

Fabrics Up for Grab-rics

***UPDATE***
A handful of the fabrics are gone now. What’s left will be in my shop soon.
******

Please forgive me for the lame title. Maybe these fabrics will make up for it.

Oh, the unruly stash! Any crafter knows what I’m talking about. A while back, I finally got the courage to tackle it. I have yet to really complete this process, but I got the hardest step done, Prioritizing. I’ve gone through all my fabric and decided what I don’t really need.
I was inspired and aided by posts Three Signs of a Cluttered Fabric Stash and 10 Steps to a Decluttered Stash over at True Up.
I really hope someone out there is inspired by the fabrics and can put them to good use. I’ve had them all for a while and either couldn’t think of something to do with them or just don’t have the time to play with them.

I’ve had them sitting in boxes here and I’m getting a little tired of tripping over them.

Check out the Fabric Giveaway Set over at my Flickr account.
Fabric Give-Away

I’m offering them up here in my blog first, to any readers who might be interested. Next week I’ll be listing them in my shop.
I’m kind of limited as to how many I can fit into the boxes and envelopes I have available. So contact me with what you’re interested in (according the photo number) and your zip code and I will send you shipping quotes for Parcel Post or Priority Mail.
Also, I haven’t taken the time to measure specific pieces, so if you have any questions to the sizes or want more info or better photos, feel free to ask.
You can email me at liesl52 at gmail dot com. Removed the spaces and change the “at” and “dot”, obviously. ;)

And speaking of giveaways: I found a link to The Sew Sweet Giveaway at True Up as well.
