Orange Night Gown and More Make Up Bags

Orange Night Gown
I’ve listed the orange nightgown from Color Week in my shop. I made it a while back and I think I used a Burda Style pattern for guidance with the bust—which one I can’t recall off the top of my head. It’s made from a secondhand cotton/poly blend fabric that is either vintage or vintage-look. (I’m leaning towards vintage-look, though it’s tricky.) I also have a bag holder and makeup bag in my shop featuring that print. And I’m working on a checkbook cover and card keeper. Then that fabric is gone.

Make Up Bags Part II
I also finished up the second batch of Make-Up bags. Coming to the shop soon! (I still have a third batch to finish up. Oy!)

Gnome-y Monday.

Bench Monday: You Don't Gnome Me
Good morning everyone. Happy Monday. Or Happy Bench Monday to be exact. Just like Creative Space Thursdays, I’ve been seeing this project all over the blogosphere. It’s called Bench Monday. The premise is pretty simple: take a picture of yourself standing on a bench on Monday.
Featured in the photo is my other pair of PJ pants. Also very tempting to stay in all day.

In other news, I’ve mentioned before that I finally gave in and signed up with a Facebook account. You’re welcome to come swing by my page and “become a fan” of Liesl Made. I’m thinking in the future I’ll be doing giveaways there and offering special discounts but for the time being I still have to get the hang of having a Facebook page. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Friday Recap and Some PJs

I finished up the PJ pants I mentioned yesterday. Here is one pair made with Harmony Art “Fields of Honey” print. (The other pair features Harmony’s “Garden” print.) I did not want to change out of these this morning. They are so comfy and cute!
Pajama Pants
(Pardon the strange photo. I played around with the blur tool in Photoshop… Didn’t really work out, did it?)

I also have a handful of interesting things found over the past week.
-Genius idea, originally found over at How About Orange: Mini Jello Watermelon Slices!
Mini Rose Stem Swizzle Sticks via Laura Walls Taylor over at Etsy

-A lovely mix of nature and lace wall organizer.
-An adorable Checkerboard tutorial over at i heart linen.
