Friday Recap and Some PJs

I finished up the PJ pants I mentioned yesterday. Here is one pair made with Harmony Art “Fields of Honey” print. (The other pair features Harmony’s “Garden” print.) I did not want to change out of these this morning. They are so comfy and cute!

Newest Purchase.

My most recent purchase, via Near Sea Naturals.
I had a summer dress pop into my head recently and knew right away I wanted it to be either Harmony’s Garden print or Fields of Honey print. But I couldn’t make up my mind so I just ordered both, figuring I wanted to make new PJ pants for myself anway. It’s a super wide width so if I lay it out right, I might be able to get two pants and two dresses. We’ll see what I can come up with.
And the gorgeous organic trim is for a PJ set I’m also planning.
Oh big things in the works. Lets see if I can, as Tim Gunn would say, make it work. What ever happened to Project Runway?
Another question: What am I doing up at this hour?

Swap

On Wednesday, I received the awesomest package in the mail. Harmony of Harmony Art and I did a trade and I was the recipient of an amazing fabric grab bag! I’ve been drooling over the scraps and dreaming up all kinds of projects. The whole experience makes me feel as if Spring has sprung early!
Now comes the mustering of the courage to cut any of it. Is anyone else like that? When they get their hands on beautiful fabric, it takes forever to make a decision as to what to do with it? I had the Whispering Grass print for ages before I finally made my mind up on the Marian Dress and the Lucy Jumper.
