Yes, they are! We planted all except the wild black caps.
We have all of those growing here except for the one you call “black caps”….but that looks similar to the tiny cherries off our cherry trees in the woods….Maybe the same?
Black caps are wild black raspberries. You’ve got cherry trees near you? How great. I wish we could grow our own cherries. And strawberries!

All of those look so yummy. One of my favorite things about summer is fresh picked blackberries….
Me too. I have to be quick around this house if I want some because everyone else goes out and picks and eats them up.
I think I’ve only had the first kind. I’d love to get my hands on some of these berries!
Gooseberries are sour—but they make great jam!
I got a few huckleberries once too–delicious!
