Well hello there Pretty people! Please let us introduce ourselves.
Who are we? We are three (out of six) sisters who love making beautiful things. We opened Pretty Wit in 2008 mainly to have fun and hopefully support our habit of buying yarn and fabric. And well…we’re not millionaires yet but we are still having fun which is the main thing isn’t it?

What does Pretty Wit mean? Shakespeare is one of our loves so we named our shop after a line from his play As You Like It.
“Art thou wise William?”
“Aye sir, I have a pretty wit!”

What do we make? As I’m the oldest, I get to go first. My name is Genevieve and I love making bracelets, necklaces and rings. I also have a new line of hand knitted and crocheted accessories. I love making custom orders as well so please don’t hesitate to contact me with your ideas!

Marguerite is the next in line. She is the genius creator of Wolly Pops the most adorable felt owls I have ever seen. The best thing is that they are REAL. They all have unique personalities, likes and dislikes. Such as Josh who is a thrill seeker who likes to bungee jump, eat cereal with a fork and say “Don’t try this at home” or Dhelia who loves pink peonies and skipping through meadows and well, you’ll have to read more about her in the shop. Marge also creates custom Wolly Pops!

And lastly but not least..ly there is Aimee. We call her “The Younger” much to her chagrin. She makes whatever she likes. Crocheted necklaces (most comfortable jewelry ever), Bird’s Eye earrings, and occasionally beautiful formal dresses. Some of my favorite items of hers are the Belle Bracelet, a bracelet made of tiny thread fashioned into very elegant granny squares. She also makes some gorgeous crochet bracelets with vintage buttons.
