Willow

I mentioned before about being an INFJ. Well under the Celtic Zodiac I am a Willow.

This all comes about because on Easter Sunday I went for a walk at a local park where the lake was surrounded with lots of willow trees. It was a breezy day and watching the branches sway and dance was a joy. It reminded me of what I read about how in Celtic mythology the Sun and Earth came about from two eggs hidden in a Willow tree and how this was celebrated around Beltane–which explains the modern day connection with Easter and Eggs.

I have to admit, though, I try not to put too much stock into things such as horoscopes or these personality quizzes. Mainly I enjoy them as tools for introspection. I realize they are meant to be somewhat vague to apply to many, even though this one, like the INFJ, was pretty accurate. I can’t help enjoying this Willow one–I have such an affinity for trees and all things Celtic.

INFJ

Jungian Personality Types has been an interesting topic amongst friends recently.
As an introspective type of person, I’m a sucker for these kinds of things. I took the quiz a few times at a few different sites and always came up INFJ: Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Judging or “The Protector.” All the descriptions I’ve come across online for this type are eerily accurate. The one below is the easiest summary but seems to showcase more of the negative aspects. This site goes more in depth and features more positive characteristics.

INFJ – “Author”. Strong drive and enjoyment to help others. Complex personality. 1.5% of total population.
