I’ve been trying to get my thoughts in order enough to do a post–about something, anything. But I’m in such a funk. Winter blues? Cabin Fever? I don’t know. Maybe I just don’t have much to say, either here or in the comments on your blogs. (Though I have been visiting!)
The icy covered snow makes going out to get pictures difficult right now. (That and laziness.) I may try to brave it today, otherwise things I have completed will have to wait.
That tutorial I’ve been promising is proving harder than I thought. The pictures turned out horrible–it’s surprisingly difficult to get consistent pictures in the florescent light of my studio. Regardless, I will get it to you eventually.
Hope you are all doing well.

Liesl: Thanks for your latest blog, “Untitled”. Sometimes we all get into a funk. Glad to know I’m not the only one. My sewing teacher here in North Carolina has your site as a link and I enjoy watching your projects. You have such a keen eye for design. Just enjoy the pretty sunny days. You don’t have to take pictures all the time. Just your thoughts are enough. I just purchased a damask (cotton/polyester) damask tablecloth; and was wondering your thoughts on a pretty dress pattern to make with it. It was 60″ by 144″ in a pretty baby pink and I got one in white as well. They were $15.00 a piece. I thought that was a good deal for the money, even if it is not real silk. What are your thoughts on damask fabric? Now I see all kinds of possibilities when I go shopping — when I see shower curtains, napkins, sheet sets, etc.
I also have trouble lately to get my posts together. But for some really weird reason I would actually have ALOT that I would like to write about. But when I sit in front of my computer … somehow it does not flow. Strange feeling.
Also I totally understand about taking photos inside – I hate it. Am so happy that finally here we get more light during the day! At least there is a little time window to get some remotely decent shots!!! :-)
Boy, can I relate to this!
I feel like my blog has been l.a.m.e as of late. I just don’t have anything all too exciting going on. January was a total suckfest. The beginning of February has had glimmers of improvement, but for the most part has continued the trend.
Please say all of 2011 won’t be so shitty. Excuse my French.
Yes. My camera died and so I have been at a complete standstill, even though I have pictures from some of the projects I have yet to write about. :-p
If you figure out how to take consistent and nice looking pictures in fluorescents you should do a tutorial on THAT! Most of my projects (especially food ones) are completed at night, so even with my one window I have no choice but to use those silly lights.
