Coasters

Coasters
I made these coasters a few months ago. Decoupaged sewing patterns on top, felt bottoms. The only problem is, especially with something hot, they stick to the cup when you pick them up.
Coastered Mug. Or a Mugged Coaster.
It’s awfully inconvenient for an item which is meant to be helpful. I have no idea on how I could make them not so sticky. Or if that’s even possible. Any suggestions?

If all else fails, maybe I can slap the square ones together and make a box or something…or a hat… or… I don’t know…

I’d recommend either using good old fashion mac tack or gluing clear plastic to em. I know sometimes you can find miscellany clear plastic in a lot of merchandise packaging now-a-days. Great way to recycle. Nice idea by the way.

Your photo of the coffee cup with the stuck coaster is why I always liked doing “reverse” decoupage! You glue the image under glass or acrylic sheet. Nice hard, smooth, shiny surface.I like Amanda idea too.
