I am trying desparately to make a purse I like. I have made 4 already, and nothing seems to be working. First, do you have a tutorial that shows how to put a zipper in the top of a purse? Also, I have made a square bottome purse, a tote, and hobo bag. None of which I have been extremely happy with when complete. I like everything about the purse but the zipper. I hate to resort to a snap because I throw my purse around to much and things will fall out. Any advise on zipper or purse pattern will be appreciated. Thanks

I am a huge fan of your blog and I love ALL of your amazing projects! how cute!
I have a blog called The Dress-up Drawer and we are spotlighting creative women by doing a giveaway in August of all things handmade!! I thought this would be right up your alley. So I was wondering if you would want to join in on our giveaway! My sister is Julie, from Leelou blogs and through her site I get TONS of traffic.
Let me know what you think!

Hi there! Saw your/my name in a comment you left at craftykin. So just wanted to say hi to someone who has the same name (spelling too) as me! I have to ask…. Is yours also from “The Sound of Music”?

How fun to stumble upon your blog! I have several artsy friends who will love this… I am particularly drawn to your St. Brigid cross coasters. Too fun. I just tried my hand at making St. Brigid crosses the other day at the beach for the first time. I had a friend, whose baby had just died in utero, so I wanted to pray and weave crosses in her and the baby’s honor. The process was lovely, very peaceful, but the first two crosses were terrible. One of pine needles from my backyard, and the other of some long thin plant material I had on hand…
After those first two attempts I then spotted some sea grass by the water line. I gathered them and they worked perfectly…
Anyway, your crosses are just perfect, too.
    Blessings…

I’m wondering …are the squares in the mini patchwork quilt series 12 inches or 12 1/2 inches? I’m really having fun doing them. I plan to make them into a quilt…someday!! Thanks.
