I had an insanely lovely weekend. Let’s see: I went for a walk.
Because Saturday was beautiful.
Fell in love with autumn all over again.
Saw a deer on the way home.
Lit a fire.
Started a little fall cleaning in my studio!
Ate a wonderful Sunday dinner, including fried (homegrown) potatoes with fresh rosemary. On the grill.
I ate meat. For the first time in seven years.
Made two pies. (Recipe soon!)
How was your weekend?

Insanely lovely is right! Beautiful images of a lovely time! Thanks for sharing… :)
Thanks. :)
Love the photographs! Where you live is so picturesque. I’m so jealous every time I see your pictures because the city just isn’t as warm. I had a very different weekend that included college football and getting back on track with household chores. I also managed to do a bit of writing creating and a lot of thinking/brainstorming and that’s always the best part. Thanks for a great post and question!
Hope this coming weekend is just as productive. :)
Lovely photos.
The box you store your thread in is pretty cool. What is it from?
so pretty! happy weekending! … even though it is now monday…. lol
Thanks. It’s almost the weekend again! (Just getting around to replying to comments…) Hope this coming one is great for you. :)
These photos are gorgeous. Keep ’em coming!
Thanks so much.
Lovely! I love the first shot, sneakers are my favourite when they get that lovely worn in browny colour.
I also have a new pair of keds and it feels funny to wear them because they are *so perfectly white.* I’m tempted to traipse through a mud puddle. ;)
Your photos are beautiful and your dinner looks great. I want to live where you live.
Thanks. It’s a lovely place. :)
Your photos are lovely indeed. The whole post radiates calming energy. I wanted to especially remark on your photo of the deer on the curving road – it’s stunning!! The surrounding, the slight blur, its body in motion = excellent!!
Thank you. It was such a quick capture—and through the windshield.
Beautiful photos! The lake just oozes serenity…! That deer shot is incredible too! And the pies look delicious! :-)
Thanks.
I love the peak into your atelier! Hopefully you’ll post some work-in-progress again soon? Hope you are doing well :)
