Oh Goodness…I am having a moment with that beautiful braid that is no longer attached to your head. I am sure that your new short do is adorable! :) Change is good.

Oh my! I did that a few years ago (though my hair isn’t as lovely as yours) and it felt really great right after I got over the WHAT DID I DO???! moment. :) Enjoy.
Beautiful photos….your hair is lovely. How do you like it short? I always have a hard time getting used to myself with short hair, because I like it long, but as I get older, my hair is getting thinner and I realize it doesn’t looks good long, but stringy. I hope you find someone who will turn it into a nice wig.
Oh my God!!!
I am sure you look great after the haircut, but you feel all the time something is missing, don’t you?
I ‘ve done this twice in my life. Took the desicion in a minute, without thinking about it.
At first I really loved my new haircut, but now I am at an in between stage and I am anxious for it to grow back. I miss my long curls! I held onto my braid for a few months before I let it go. When I finally did send it I eventually received a reply in the mail and I was really glad that I did it. I would do it again. :)

and i love love love these photos. especially the last one.
I did this recently too, but I cut off 10 inches. http://kiyaspiritoffire.wordpress.com/2011/09/21/ten-inchescontinued/ I grew my hair for about 2 years. I gave mine to “Pantene Great Lengths” because I didn’t have enough to give to “Angel Hair for Kids” http://www.acvf.ca/index.php/our-programs/angel-hair-for-kids/ This organization donates the wigs to families who cannot afford to buy them for their children.
