I absolutely fell in love with this tutorial when I first came across it. As someone who uses any nearby object as a bookmark, it was a must. The only problem was that I didn’t have any magnets. (Which is such a clever idea!) So I went ahead with it without. I also switched it up and put the seam in the back. (Have I ever mentioned how terrible I am at following directions?) I’m not sure the bookmark will stay in place as well without the magnets, but it’s so cute!

I also made a new ironing board cover out of a Robert Kaufman Chick-a-Dee Chick-a-Doo print. I realized these are all little, simple things but they are for me and making me very happy. And the presents I’ve been working on for family are making me happy too. Are you making any things for yourself or others that are filling you with joy?

ooooo … i LOVE this idea!
i borrowed a friend’s book recently, and she had a little magnetic bookmark in it, and i thought it was the cleverest (is that a word?) idea … but i L.O.V.E. the fabric version even more!!!
lovely.
I want a corner bookmark!
I’m still working on Christmas decorations, I went past the burnout stage and I’m back to loving it again!
Your corner bookmark is so lovely! I love the coziness of fabric bookmarks. And it’s so fabulous that you’re taking time to make yourself some things.
i really like the corner covers!
