Color Week : Yellow

All Hail Yellow! It’s such a bright and cheery color. And in abundance around here.
Color Week: Yellow Sunflower
This first picture required a bit of work. I had to drag a chair out into the garden and balance, precariously, over the carrots and beets. The shot just would not have been the same from the ground.
Color Week: Yellow Embroidery
I noticed there are also some traces of yellow in the embroidery of a vintage tea towel in the living room.
Color Week: Yellow Game
An old German board game on the bookshelf provided a paler shade of yellow.
Color Week: Yellow Squash
When I was taking this photo of the tasty looking squash, I realized a real challenge would be to do this in the dead of winter when nature isn’t providing us with a plethora of colors. It almost feels like I’m cheating–just step outside and there is color everywhere.

And a little off topic, but check out this photo I snapped while on my hunt for yellow!
