I love this idea via My Crafty Mess: A Colo[u]r Week!

I’m a day late but I still have the rest of the week to participate. I missed one of my favorite colors (red) and get to start off on one of my least favorite colors—orange. I thought I’d never find anything orange in my world to capture but then it hit me I had just recently made an orange nightgown from a (possibly) vintage secondhand fabric I received ages ago. I have been debating and debating whether or not to put it in the shop.

As I was taking photos of it, I realized the Tiger Lilies growing next to the barn were orange.

And when I came inside I realized the Georgia peaches my parents brought back from their recent trip down South were also orange.

And then, as I came into my room to upload the pictures and blog about them, excited that I had actually found not one but three orange things, I realized there is a big chunk of my book shelf that is orange.
Who would have thought there was so much [beautiful] orange in my world. I do hope you’ll play along.

Ooh! Loving that nightdress!
And who says you can’t do a red post now? I’ll link it up tomorrow! Thanks for playing!
Beautiful orange! Those peaches look wonderful. And I had to smile seeing Skinny Legs and All on your bookshelf. That book set me off on a serious Tom Robbins reading kick in college.
